Copyright rules and regulations
The site that I explored was http://iit.bloomu.edu/vthc/CopyrightFairUse.
The site is authored by Bloomsburg University Virtual Training Help Center. It provides valuable information for students and teachers about Fair Use concerning Copyright Law. It informs readers of specific regulations on material used and examples of what is acceptable and what is not.
I can definitely imagine using this site in my classroom. We do research essays and several multimedia presentations in my class. I would like to introduce my students to this site, as well as, require them to recognize the material used in their essays or presentations that they didn't create. To assess their use of the site's information and understanding of the concepts, I would challenge them to create their own examples of correct and incorrect adherence to the Copyright Laws in relation to Fair Use.
